All songs written, performed and produced by Brian Russell
Eight is my eighth album, featuring thirteen original tracks. It brings together the rock, blues and pop influences that have shaped much of my music, alongside a few new directions in the writing and recording.
This time I’ve introduced harmonica and female backing vocals on some tracks, while others take a more stripped-back approach. Two of the thirteen tracks are instrumentals, including The Christmas Dance, which takes the music in a rather different direction.
